Cancellation Policy for Amped Physiotherapy

Your appointment time is reserved just for you.  A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the therapists’ day that could have been filled by another client.  As such, we require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Clients who provide less than 24 hours notice or miss their appointment will be charged the fee for the treatment they missed.  If an appointment is cancelled because of weather-related business closing, business emergency which is unforeseen or because of our inability to deliver the appointment we will work with you to re-schedule the appointment and no cancellation fee will be applied.

Refund, Cancellation and No Show Policy for Classes and Personal Training

“Classes at Amped – the participant chooses the time and day they would like to participate.”

“Personal Training Session – the participant books the time and day with their trainer.”

We understand that there are times when you must miss a class/session that you are registered in due to emergencies or obligations for work or family. However, when you do not cancel, you may be preventing another client from participating. Conversely, the situation may arise where another client fails to cancel, and we are unable to schedule you for a class/session, due to a seemingly “full” roster. If a participant does not cancel at least 24 hours in advance or show up for class/session you will be charged the fee for the class/session. If you used a pass from a package it will be deemed to have been used. Though many participants and families are consistent and reliable about attendance, some are not; this policy is a way to support our talented staff.

Refund and Cancellation Policy for Programs and Camps

“PA Day Camps – are one day camps offered periodically throughout the school year.”

“Programs/Camps – the participant has purchased a specific program/camp with Amped to provide a series of sessions for a specified period.”

Summer Camps must be paid in full by May 31st to guarantee your spot in the camp.

Planning for all Amped camps and programs is based on enrollment numbers well in advance of the program/camp start dates.  As a result, cancellations for PA Day Camps will be accepted up to 7 days prior, you will receive a refund to your original method of payment or credit to your mind body account less a $35.00 administration fee.  For all other Programs/Camps cancellations will be accepted up to 14 days prior, you will receive a refund to your original method of payment or credit to your mind body account less a $35.00 administration fee.  Cancellations 1-6 days prior to a PA Day Camp or 1 -13 days prior to all other Programs/Camps we will provide a credit to your Mind Body account less the $35.00 fee. Please note that credits issued to mind body accounts are non-transferable.

Refund and Cancellation Policy for Ice Rentals, Room Bookings and Any Services that Groups/Individuals have entered into an Agreement/Contract with Amped Sports Lab and Ice Complex

As per rental/service agreement/contracts.

Make Up Policy for Programs/Camps provided by Amped or Groups/Individuals who have entered into an Agreement with Amped Sports Lab and Ice Complex

“Programs/Camps at Amped – the participant has purchased a specific program/camp or is involved with a group or individual who has entered into an agreement with Amped to provide a series of sessions for a specified period.”

In the event of any participants absence, Amped does not offer compensatory class/sessions for absences and/or missed class/sessions that occur because participants have conflicts, travel out of town, illness or injury.  We set aside a specific time for each class/session and ensure we have the appropriate level of coaching staff available. This time is reserved. The business cannot give the time away to someone else or fill it again. Though many participants and families are consistent and reliable about attendance, some are not; this policy is a way to support our talented staff.

If a class/session(s) is cancelled because of a weather-related business closing, business emergency which is unforeseen or because of our inability to deliver the class/session(s) Amped will sets aside another time for a make up class/session(s) if the business is able to accommodate or a proportionate rebate for the class/session(s) that were cancelled.

Returns, Refunds or Exchanges for Merchandise and Service Packages

You have 10 calendar days to return, exchange or to be refunded for Amped apparel or merchandise from the date it was purchased. To be eligible for a return, exchange, or refund your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.  Your item must be in the original package or with original tags.  Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase.  If your return is approved for a refund, we will initiate a refund to your credit card or original method of payment.  Items excluded from an exchange, return or refund include skate sharpening, water bottles, personalized products, sales items and undergarments as they are considered final sale.

Purchasing a Pack (5, 10 etc.) provides the client with a discount per class for that specific service. If a client has paid for a single service (class) and later decides to purchase a Pack for that same service they will not be allowed to convert previously paid single service (classes) to the Pack.

Our service packages (5,10 etc.) provide a certain number of classes at a discounted price for that service.  If the service package has not been used we will initiate a refund to your credit card, original method of payment, or place a credit on your Mind Body account for future use.  If a service package has been partially used, each session attended will be will be deemed to have transpired at the single price rate for that service. And the refund will be the difference refunded to your credit card, original method of payment, or placed as a credit on your Mind Body account for future use.
